Whelan & Di Scala drop another dope cut with “Cuba”. This follow up to their previous “Persil” offers a thumpin’ track with a slightly clubby feel to it and an irresistible fat groove. The theme “Cuba” whirls as a hot summer breeze through the song and the hammering break, with trancy string stabs will certainly have everybody on the dance floor raising their hands in ecstasy. The remix delivered by Jordy Lishious has more of a jagged edge, subtle extra percussion and smoother synths in the break, bust still maintains the full strength of the original. “Cuba” by Whelan & Di Scala is a true slammer!

What A Summer / Unclubbed launch night

'What A Summer 09' launched on Saturday 5th September with two fantastic shows. As a warm up to the evening Abigail Bailey and Lewis Cutler performed tracks from the 'Unclubbed' album. Taking place on the rooftop of Village Underground the show was intimate and loved by the 100 or so lucky enough to get tickets. The video of the event is coming soon.

The party proper happened around the corner at The Hoxton Pony. The venue was packed by 9 and stayed packed until Joe Le Groove played the final record of the night. Thanks to Matt Samuels, Felix Baumgartner, Abigail Bailey and Joe Le Groove who all played blinding sets. Check the pictures here
